Partner. Co-Present. Co-Conspire

The Ritual of Breath goes beyond a traditional presentation. The opera is grounded in each place it lands and expands to encompass civic partnerships, community activations and healing rituals. The Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth seeks partners and co-producers willing to extend the impact of this work and further the artistic movement to resist state-sanctioned violence against Black bodies.

Co-presenter Tools

  • Following presentations in NYC, New Hampshire and the Bay Area, the Ritual of Breath producing team has developed an adaptable community engagement plan for creating partnerships and activations. We are able to share this experience and approach, and help develop a plan to expand the reach and impact of the opera to your community.

  • The @theritualofbreath Instagram is an ongoing social media account for community and audience engagement.

  • This project website is built to amplify the opera and community activations in whatever place the work is performed. We are able to work with your producing and communications team to list community activations, share templated communication materials.

  • We are able to offer a series of workshops developed for Dartmouth, connected to an accredited course developed at Harvard by the project’s Co-Social Impact Director Dr. Shamell Bell
